Judge Abramson Not on the Palm Beach Judicial Rotation List

The 15th Judicial Circuit Court in and for Palm Beach County issued a “Judicial Rotation Information” document which goes into effect as of January 20, 2009.  The hotly disputed incoming Judge Abramson is nowhere to be seen on the roster.  You heard it here first.

Instead, Judge Stern (Division AE) is now being replaced by Judge McCarthy, referencing him as the rotating judge.  McCarthy’s trial division TD is temporarily closed — we wonder if this means no summary trials in Palm Beach County for the foreseeable future?

Also notable, Judge Hoy is rotated out with Judge Crow (who had been slated to rotate to a completely different division and courthouse) returning to the building in division AG.  Judge Crow had previously posted a professional, heartful farewell note to circuit court lawyers who had previously appeared before him;  his return is a welcome one.
